Terkini, seorang bergelar Datuk Seri disarung baju lokap SPRM warna oren. Empat biji kenderaan mewah turut disita!
Walaupun pihak Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) kata tak ada keperluan untuk menahan Ketua Menteri Lim Guan Eng setakat ini, namun ia tidak bermakna Guan Eng boleh lari daripada soalan yang dibangkitkan Timbalan Presiden MCA Datuk Seri Dr Ir Wee Ka Siong.
Tindakan Guan Eng yang cuba lari dan hanya memberi jawapan lepas tangan membuatkan ramai yang geram. Tidak mustahil, mereka dalam pejabat kerajaan negeri juga rasa tidak senang hati melihat gelagat Guan Eng yang juga Setiausaha Agung DAP itu.
Soalan bertubi-tubi yang diajukan oleh Ka Siong juga gagal dijawab dengan baik. Asyik main 'corner' saja tak menjawab dengan jelas.
Belum lagi kira jawapan yang tak konsisten. Alahai Penang alahai Guan Eng nampak macam sudah kena checkmate!

1. After months of absence, the Penang Tunnel SPV, Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd, has finally issued a statement on the recently revealed controversy of the Penang Tunnel project.
2. This is one of the strangest statements issued by a company awarded a RM6.34 billion in living memory.
3. In their statement, the SPV had admitted that they did not fulfill the RM381mil minimum paid up capital at the time of the award of the Request for Proposal - not open tender.
4. The SPV also confirmed that the they have increased their paid up capital to RM26.5- million today. which is still below the RM381mil minimum paid up capital to qualify to bid for the project but will "eventually" reach RM381mil given enough time.
5. Even more blatant is that the SPV said their RM26.5mil paid up company today - which is more than the RM300,000 when they first won the RM6.34 billion tender - is sufficient to perform the RM305mil cost of the reports.
6. However the project was awarded based on the financial and technical capability to construct and deliver the RM6.34 bullion construction of the 3 roads and tunnel - not to only deliver the RM305mil reports.
7. The SPV also confirmed that CRCC is just one of the supposedly many contractors engaged to do the RM305mil reports - which contradicts Lim Guan Eng's statement that CRCC is the main contractor.
8. On top of that, the SPV did not deny that my findings that CRCC had stopped work some time back due to non payment since the project was awarded and is no longer involved in the project. The SPV also did not deny that when it first participated for the Request for Proposal, their parent company, Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd, was only a 82 days old company with paid up capital of RM300,000 then - way below what was required to qualify to bid for the project.
9. Given these shocking admissions by the SPV company that it did not qualify the RM381mil minimum paid-up capital and will eventually reach that amount given enough time.. it is no longer possible for Guan Eng to deny that procurement guidelines were not met.
10. It is no longer possible for Guan Eng to play dumb and not answer my statement and video last week.
11. Given such revealing confirmation from the SPV today, not answering is no longer an option for the Penang Chief Minister.
12. He should come out to explain if there was abuse of power or political interference in awarding this relatively new small local company a RM6.34 billion project.
